Small group SEN coaching in schools

I offer small group coaching within schools for children with additional needs, including those with a neurodivergent diagnosis.

This provision is designed to complement existing SEN support while addressing a key gap: ongoing, personalised support following diagnosis. My approach is research informed and I hold a Master’s in Child Development from UCL (BPS accredited), where my research focused on improving support for neurodivergent children and their families after diagnosis. I am also a CPD-accredited ADHD coach and hold an enhanced DBS check.

My work brings together evidence-based understanding with a practical, relational coaching approach. After diagnosis, many children and families are left without consistent, meaningful support. Coaching has been shown to fill this gap, providing a regular and supportive space where children can better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop tools for everyday life.

How It Works

Small groups (3–5 pupils), with a strong focus on the individual within the group.

Sessions are calm, structured, and adapted in real time, and may include:

  • Emotional regulation and self-understanding

  • Practical strategies for focus and wellbeing

  • Age-appropriate understanding of the brain

  • Creative approaches (including optional origami sessions to support focus and flow)

Who is this for?

  • Neurodivergent pupils (e.g. ADHD, autism and comorbidities)

  • Children finding school overwhelming

  • Schools seeking stronger post-diagnosis support

I also welcome collaboration with specialist SEN settings.

As a guide, my 1:1 coaching rate is £50 per 45-minute session.
Group coaching offers a cost-effective way to extend this level of support.
